PLAYER EVALUATIONS
AYSO has Six Philosophies: Balanced Teams, Everyone Plays, Positive Coaching, Open Registration, Good Sportsmanship & Player Development. These Philosophies are what make AYSO special and why we are the number one youth sports program in America.
Players should bring the following items to evaluations:
1. Soccer Ball
2. Shin guards are REQUIRED for all players. No shin guards, no play, no exceptions.
3. Plenty of water.
Parents Should not leave their children here and come back later.

Please be advised that we are hosting evaluations and not try-outs. All registered players we be placed on a team. The purpose of the evaluations is to gauge the levels of the players in each Division so the Coach Administration Staff can balance the teams when forming them.
Also, while evaluations are not mandatory, the more players that show up at evaluations, the better the teams can be balanced. The Board Members put in hundreds of volunteer hours a year to make the season happen. We are asking parents to please make an effort and do their part too.
WHO DOES NOT NEED TO COME: Any player in divisions 3U-8U (2023-2018), and 14U-19U (2007-2012)
Opening Day is Saturday, September 6, 2025.
AYSO is a youth program whose success and continuance are supported and dependent solely on volunteers. We are still in need of coaches for many divisions, as well as referees, team parents and other help. Parents, if you have not yet volunteered, please take a moment to log in to your Sports Connect account and register to volunteer.
DO NOT FEAR! We provide all of the training for coaches and referees, and no prior experience is necessary. It is not only a big help — and a show of support to your child — it is fun! Dates for coach and referee training classes are listed on the calendar. All coaches and referees must participate in AYSO certified training. All training is free. There is no cost to you.
You will be receiving further communications about your team, practice dates (if applicable), and other news directly from your coach by the end of August. You can also log on to our web site www.ayso41.org for further dates and information.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact [email protected]
Thank you and we are looking forward to seeing you!
