Update from Team Formation Meetings

Thank you to all the families that came to our important meetings on short notice; your response will directly improve our region this year.  And to the volunteers who stepped forward as coaches, you have my heart felt gratitude, thank you for the gift you are giving our children this season.

MEETING RESULTS

U7 Boys, U9 Boys, U10 Boys.
We have successfully placed coaches for every team and you should hear from your coach in the next day or so.

U12 Girls
With a generous volunteer and a dedicated coach we have found a solution for the open team. The team will be notified in the next few days and practice will begin shortly.  The team really needs an additional ASSISTANT COACH!  Please consider volunteering for this important position.  Contact U7@ayso41.org to volunteer!

U14 Boys and Girls
Based on 4 generous volunteers we have submitted plans establishing 2 teams each for U14 Boys and Girls.  The U14 teams will get an upper division experience this year as they compete against each other and also neighboring cities. Expect to hear from the coaches in the next few days!

U16 Girls
We will be contacting every player this week to confirm your AYSO commitment for this season. We have submitted plans for 1 team to participate in the Area's Upper Division Circuit.

Volunteer Application Online

Thank you for volunteering with AYSO in Laguna Niguel.

All volunteers, new and returning, must be registered each year.  The easiest, most confidential way to do this is online with a service provided by AYSO.

Open your Internet browser to http://eayso.org/.

New volunteers: Click the ‘First time’ button. On the following page, click the ‘AYSO volunteers’ button.  New volunteers will be asked for names and contact information for three personal references and for your driver's license and social security number.  Rest assured that AYSO holds this information in the strictest of confidence and does NOT print this information on the forms.

Returning volunteers: Click the 'AYSO volunteers' button to update your information.

All volunteers should continue filling in the required information on the next pages until you create or update your eAYSO record.

Print 2 copies, sign them, and mail both copies to:

About VIP (Special Needs Players)

Untitled Document

AYSO VIP Program provides a quality soccer experience for children - and adults - whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams. VIP teams may include those who are

  • Blind or visually impaired
  • Amputees or conditions that impair mobility
  • Mentally or emotionally challenged
  • Autistic
  • Downs Syndrome
  • Cerebral Palsy

These children are Very Important Players (VIP) in AYSO. We recognize that all children need to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. The VIP program offers that acceptance and carries our philosophy of Everyone Plays® to new heights - giving everyone a chance to play. For more information about the VIP program contact Kerry Mackey.
