Region 41 takes AYSO's philosophy that "Everyone Plays" literally in our desire to offer soccer to every interested child in Laguna Niguel.

Returning Players/Volunteers - We strongly encourage all players and volunteers to use the national registration website www.eayso.org to update or create your child’s profile and your volunteer profile prior to registration. Make sure you select Region 41 in Laguna Niguel. After completing the process you have the option to pay online with MC or Visa. Print 2 copies of the applications and bring them to registration. If you did not pay online then also bring payment to registration.
New Players/Volunteers - and anyone preferring to mail the application – Please complete the application online at www.eayso.org. See further directions below for submitting 2 copies of the application to complete the registration process and be enrolled. Some things you might want/need to know:

Season Dates: The Fall Season begins with practices for the U8 - U14 in mid to late August. The regular season begins on September 10th and runs through Mid-November. Then U10 and above begin post-season play-offs and conclude before Christmas.

FAQ's: Go to the front page of this website and click on “Parent” and then “FAQ's” for answers!

Divisions: Players play with and against children their age. This chart shows the way we divide the players into divisions, then teams. Players meeting certain requirements may "play up" with an older division with the approval of the applicable Division Director and the Regional Commissioner.

VIP: This division exclusively serves our special needs community. AYSO believes that the "Everyone Plays" philosophy applies to everyone! The teams are co-ed.

Teams: One of the 6 philosophies of AYSO is "Balanced Teams." Teams in the U10 and older divisions are balanced: players are rated by their coaches in the prior fall season and that rating is entered into the database. A computer program sorts the players by gender and rating to create balanced teams. The U5 Jamboree program is co-ed, but usually the boys play boys and the girls play girls during the game time of the play group sessions.

Team Requests: We discourage players from requesting coaches or teammates, as the computer program used to balance the teams does not take those requests into consideration. One of the benefits of AYSO is making many new friends!

Volunteers: AYSO functions solely through the generous efforts of its dedicated team of volunteers. For a successful soccer season, WE NEED YOU. New and returning volunteers must complete and sign a Volunteer Application Form each year. We strongly encourage volunteers to use the national registration website to www.eayso.org to update your volunteer profile prior to registration. If you are new or plan to mail your applications, please visit eAYSO.org and click on the “Volunteer” link. For more information on volunteering, click on the “Coach” and/or “Referee” links on the front page of this website. Coaching and refereeing may be the most visible volunteer roles, but there are many ways to help a team or Region. Many volunteer roles require small amounts of time, but are very valuable to the kids. We try to match your skills and available time to a responsibility that will help the program the most. You can select a volunteer position online or in person.
