***NEW***Referee Upgrade Training***Referee Upgrade Training

The best way to become a better referee is to continue to train and upgrade your badge. This region and area continues to offer training classes continually. I know it is hard to commit personal time to train but it is worth it. Upgrade training is much different than what you received in basic training.

There is always more to learn, and all of these classes will be taught by excellent instructors who are seasoned referees and dedicated volunteers just like you. The classes are fun, and are sure to make you a better referee. (Fees for students from regions of Area 11L will be direct-billed to the regions. Most other regions of AYSO will reimburse fees).

Please think about upgrading I promise you will not be disappointed it is a fun, interactive and terrific learning experience about what I think is one of the most exciting sports in our nation today. Soccer is a thinking game and you must be on top of your game every minute you are on the pitch. The players continue to learn more and are becoming better players we must continue to become better referees.

I personally learn every time I step on the pitch.

Please review the schedule below and go to the area web site and sign up if you can.

Feedback form

Your thoughts and opinions are valued.  With nearly 3,000 players on 250 teams, the Regional Administration cannot possibly see or hear what is happening on the practice fields or at each game.  The mission of AYSO is to create an atmosphere for the kids to have a fun, fair and safe experience in a recreational soccer league.  Some kids play to win, some for friendship and some for the snack.  As referees, we must keep this in the forefront of our minds.  This form was created to give you an outlet to voice your feedback about coaches, parents, and other referees.
