Spring Soccer 2009 Signups

Laguna Niguel Spring AYSO Soccer

The AYSO Spring program is designed as a reward to AYSO volunteers for their participation in the Fall AYSO season. The gaming circuit for the Spring season is managed by Area L, so all Laguna Niguel Spring teams play other teams from the 9 other regions in Area L. Teams are formed by designated coaches, initially with children of volunteers. Other children may also be included on a space available basis.

To ensure a quality Spring program, each team must provide two referees certified and willing to referee matches at the team age level. Spring coaches must be certified for the team age level – no exceptions. Area-L conducts a full range of referee and coach training in January. Click here for more information (link to training calendar).

On a space available basis, this year Laguna Niguel AYSO will be pleased to permit players who did not participate in the Fall AYSO program to participate in our Spring program. Players with a parent who meets the referee or coach criteria will be given preference.

Spring program fees are intended to cover the essential costs of the program, including two jerseys (home and away) for each player. For players who did not play in the fall, a surcharge will apply to cover the cost of registration with AYSO National.

  • Fall Player Cost: $65
  • Not a Fall Player Cost $80
Please click on the applicable link below to apply for Laguna Niguel Spring AYSO Soccer: You will be notified once we have evaluated all the applications and determined the team composition.

Thank your for your interest in AYSO Region 41- Laguna Niguel

Volunteer Application Online

Thank you for volunteering with AYSO in Laguna Niguel.

All volunteers, new and returning, must be registered each year.  The easiest, most confidential way to do this is online with a service provided by AYSO.

Open your Internet browser to http://eayso.org/.

New volunteers: Click the ‘First time’ button. On the following page, click the ‘AYSO volunteers’ button.  New volunteers will be asked for names and contact information for three personal references and for your driver's license and social security number.  Rest assured that AYSO holds this information in the strictest of confidence and does NOT print this information on the forms.

Returning volunteers: Click the 'AYSO volunteers' button to update your information.

All volunteers should continue filling in the required information on the next pages until you create or update your eAYSO record.

Print 2 copies, sign them, and mail both copies to:

AYSO 41 Volunteers
PMB 268
PO Box 30012
Laguna Niguel, CA  92607-0012

You have now registered or updated your registration on eAYSO. If you have any questions, please contact me at CVPA@ayso41.org.

About VIP (Special Needs Players)

Untitled Document

AYSO VIP Program provides a quality soccer experience for children - and adults - whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams. VIP teams may include those who are

  • Blind or visually impaired
  • Amputees or conditions that impair mobility
  • Mentally or emotionally challenged
  • Autistic
  • Downs Syndrome
  • Cerebral Palsy

These children are Very Important Players (VIP) in AYSO. We recognize that all children need to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. The VIP program offers that acceptance and carries our philosophy of Everyone Plays® to new heights - giving everyone a chance to play. For more information about the VIP program contact Kerry Mackey.
